I work in chalk pastels, oil paints and on occasion, papier-mâché. Ideas originate as works on paper that graduate to canvas for a series of paintings. Palette moods and textures obscure subject matter. Corporeal landscapes populate my work. I keep returning to my studio for the pure joy and sense of purpose it brings me.
