My paintings and drawings are not merely representations of the natural world; they are explorations of the subconscious, inviting viewers to see beyond the surface. Biomorphic forms are a central theme in my practice. Inspired by the fluid shapes and structures found in nature, I create compositions that resonate organically. These shapes blur the familiar and the unfamiliar, encouraging a visceral connection to the artwork. Each piece becomes a landscape of possibility inviting the viewer to navigate an evolving narrative of growth, transformation and interconnection.
Pareidolia, the phenomenon of perceiving familiar patterns in random stimuli, plays a crucial role in my work. Through subtle hints and abstract configurations, I invite viewers to project their own interpretations onto the canvas. This engagement fosters a dialogue between the observer and the artwork, where the individual’s experience and emotions shape the meaning. My work challenges viewers to embrace ambiguity and find beauty in the unexpected. I celebrate the intricate dance between the seen and the unseen, inviting a deeper exploration of what it means to perceive and create meaning in an ever-shifting world.
